Cat Eye Glasses:

Cat eye glasses are a style of vintage glasses worn by women. Cat eye glasses, which get their name for the cat-eye shape of their frames, were incredibly popular during the 1950s and1960s. Audrey Hepburn wore them in Breakfast at Tiffanys and other pop icons including Marilyn Monroe and Dame Edna contributed to the popularity and success of the cat eye frame.

In recent years cat eye glasses have come back into style. Many frame boutiques and glasses stores sell modern day takes on these popular retro eye glasses. In the 50s and 60s, point at the top edges of the cat eye glasses was very strong, and often included little decorations at the corners. Todays cat eye frames are usually much more subtle.
